Most Obama Administration pronouncements are irrational, like that pertaining to the ‘settled science’ of global warming, which fails to recognize the one crucial, verifiable reality: “Men endowed with the mature and contrite sense that their knowledge and understanding are circumscribed by the very nature of their being do not aspire to utter [such] definitive statements, [they] do not pretend to speak for all time, and do not incline to dream of utopia (or of the apocalypse).[i]
Too, concerning the reality in which Obama and his surrogates choose to move, “…the pure love of truth, uncolored by any passionately held beliefs, is a reality of some other universe, not [theirs].”[ii]
He and his surrogates; the stuff of the American Academy, press on toward their Utopian vision, the futility of which quite simply escapes them: “Sicut eritus dei,” Satan promises: ‘You shall be as God!’ Hopefully, though too late to save themselves, they will discover the barrenness of such pretension.
